Liquid Courage is a work from the creative team of Amy Miketic and James Kloiber. The genesis of this husband and wife collaborative is the desire to create visceral films that portray individuals who live through the destructive ways of society.

BLACK BOOTS is a 20-minute short film. Written by Amy and Jim, and to be directed by Amy with Jim producing.

Set in Northern Bosnia during the war, a Serbian Son must save his estranged Bosnian Father as the Paramilitary Unit he’s joined "sweeps" the area for which they are responsible.

BLACK BOOTS is an allegory about family, heritage and politics in Yugoslavia as it collapses under the weight of ethnic nationalism.

Filming will take place over five days in Upstate New York.


We are currently seeking funds for production.
FATHER is a seven-minute short film that examines a group therapy session for men who were sexually abused as children. What should be a right of passage for a father and son is questioned as one survivor confronts another on what exactly he means by the word beautiful.

The audience is left with the feeling that these men, may never be able to completely heal from the wounds inflicted on them when they were children.

FATHER
has been accepted to the 2008 West Chester Film Festival and the 2008 Indie Gathering Film Festival

It is currently being considered by several others.

FOUR MEN IN THE SAND, is a full length screenplay written by Amy and Jim, with Amy directing.

Four Men is a modern day western about a reckless woman and her steadfast cowboy as they make for the Mexican border pursued by men seeking revenge.

All she wants is to be free of the past. But every debt has its price.

George wasn’t a bad when he was sent to prison. He was foolish. Released after serving 15 years, George goes back to his family thinking it would be the safest way for him to reenter society.

Although his family may welcome him back. Not everyone can forgive.
